Top 5 Books and Reference Apps on Android in Turkey Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the Books and Reference category on the Android platform in Turkey displayed varied performance trends among the top applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Wattpad - Read & Write Stories experienced a notable fluctuation in its weekly revenue, which started at approximately $1.9K in early July and gradually declined, reaching around $481 by early September. Its weekly downloads saw a decreasing trend from 43.7K in early July to just under 9.3K by September. Meanwhile, the weekly active users peaked at over 2.3M mid-July, followed by a steady decline to about 794K by the end of September.

Kitap Oku showed an interesting pattern in weekly downloads, beginning at 4K in early July and peaking at 32.9K by late July. Although there was a gradual decrease, the app maintained a consistent download rate between 12K and 14K towards the end of the quarter.

Kitap Pad - Hikaye yaz & Oku saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from 2K in mid-July and reaching a peak of nearly 27K by mid-August. This was followed by a decline, ending the quarter at about 5K downloads per week.

Çizgi Studio: Kami demonstrated a stable revenue stream, albeit at a lower level, with minor weekly variations. The app's downloads spiked to 37.8K in mid-July but gradually tapered off to about 2.4K by the end of September. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, peaking at over 47K and declining to around 9K by quarter-end.

Finally, Wattpad Beta had a dynamic quarter, with weekly downloads fluctuating significantly. Starting at 1.9K in early July, the app saw a substantial increase, reaching over 34.7K by the end of September. Its active users also grew from approximately 15K to an impressive 77.4K over the same period.
